A liberal Democrat in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Campaign Manager to primary a conservative Democrat in the 2026 midterms.

As public frustration grows toward Trump, Republicans, and establishment Democrats, there’s a major opportunity for a new generation of candidates—who understand today’s media landscape—to lead the fight against right-wing extremism while offering a bold, aspirational vision for America (similar to AOC, Zohran Mamdani, Kat Abughazaleh, Maxwell Frost, and others).

NOTE: This is not a symbolic run; our candidate is from the district and is running to win—and we need a seasoned, professional strategist to lead us there.

Location: South Jersey (closer to Philadelphia than NYC) | position is on-site; relocation required if necessary

Duration: Limited, full-cycle role. Minimum: January – June, 2026

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience

Qualifications:

• Proven Campaign Manager experience, ideally including federal or statewide races
• Strong track record in campaign strategy, field organizing, and operations management
• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science or a related field
• Data-driven strategist: adept with tools like VAN, NGP, analytics platforms, etc.
• Excellent understanding of how to use technology in a campaign setting (and in general)
• Superior analytical and organizational skills, with careful attention to details
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Comfortable serving as a public liaison and managing media relations
• Initiative, discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to work long hours under pressure
